Duties will include:

  • Working closely with a qualified accountant, you will be trained in all aspects of accounts preparation, to include bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, sales ledger and VAT returns for our clients on both manual and digital records to help and assist with the preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnership and Limited Companies
  • You will also gain experience in working with various cloud based bookkeeping packages and accountancy software
  • Gain experience with using payroll and tax preparation software

Desired qualifications

  • Level 2 AAT qualification required prior to application
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above to include English and maths
  • A minimum of 2 A levels at grade C or above one of which should be maths

  • Prospect of progression to a higher level apprenticeship qualification and to progress within the business
  • Prospect of a permanent position for the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship
