Engineering Operative Apprentice. QUIREPACE LIMITED

You will work alongside our Workshop Supervisor, learning to read and interpret engineering drawings. You will learn assembly and bench fitting techniques and learn to produce work that meets high quality standards. You will comply with statutory regulations, safety requirements including any environmental compliance procedures and systems.

2 GCSE’s at grade C or above (or equivalents) to include Maths and English are essential.

Future prospects

Eventually you will be working with minimum supervision and will be responsible for your own actions and for the quality and accuracy and timely delivery of the work you undertake.

A permanent position will be available upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Business Plus at Fareham College will carry out the training. We are an Ofsted rated Outstanding College. Time at College will cover bespoke off the job training to meet the need of the standard delivered at the College site and regular visits and support from the Professional Coach at the workplace.
