We require an Early Years Apprentice to join our Foundations Stage Team. The apprentice will support the teaching, learning and development of children under the direction of the class teacher and will be involved in the day to day of planning, delivery and assessment within the Foundation Stage.

  • Support the teacher in the planning and delivery of the Early Years curriculum
  • Help with the care and support of pupils individually and in groups 
  • Contribute to the crating of an attractive/ stimulating, safe/secure class/school environment through display and classroom organisation
  • Contribute to the assessment of pupils of pupils, particularly those in your particular group through observations, records and discussions
  • Support the maintenance of positive links between home and school
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, other staff and visitors

GCSE or equivalent in English and maths at grade 9 to 4 (A*- C) or the equivalent.
