Working for a small, friendly and professional IT company near Lichfield, the role includes:

  • Handling incoming calls from customers who have an IT related query
  • Helping fix computer problems over the telephone
  • Logging all calls on the computer system
  • Going out with an experienced IT Technician to customer’s sites to repair computer problems
  • 1st Line helpdesk support to customers with an IT related issue
  • Providing an excellent standard of customer service
  • Using the computer to send emails to customers
  • General associated office administration duties
  • Working in a busy, friendly office as part of a team

Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend South Staffs College in Tamworth on a day release basis for training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your employer. You will work towards an Infrastructure Technician Standard.

The qualification will consist of:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills English and maths
  • Knowledge, skills and behaviours as detailed in the standard
