A versatile and capable Business and Sales Administrator Apprentice is required to assist the smooth and efficient running of our company. You should be adaptive, proactive, supportive and detail oriented. You need to thrive in a busy office environment and be able to work under pressure. The specific duties of this post include, though are not limited to: 

  • Acting as a personal assistant to directors
  • Assisting with special projects and helping to develop and implement new policies and processes
  • Taking and processing customer orders; answering incoming calls, texts and e-mails; and dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Handling complaints and negotiations and providing a first-class service to customers, especially when they contact the KMA office.
  • Organising travel and accommodation for trade stands and business trips and attending trade stands as necessary
  • Processing any shop sales, dealing with shop customers when required, organising special offer stock and maintaining till and cash floats
  • Preparing and facilitating advertising, marketing and promotions by utilising social media, and linguistic skills to communicate with European distributors

  • Potential to mentor or coach others
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of our brands and products
  • A genuine interest in martial arts would be advantageous

Desired qualifications

  • Maths and English - Grades 4 (C) or equivalent
  • Good ICT/Social Media skills

Future prospects

  • Possibility of future employment and/or progression opportunities on the successful completion of Level 3 qualification

Things to consider

  • The qualification will be delivered largely remotely and supported with site visits.  There will be an option to attend College for additional support as necessary, but subject to COVID restrictions
  • The FOCUS Training Centre is based at Marsh Mills, Plymouth, PL6 8HL
