TruStack are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team based in Cramlington. The individual must have good communication skills, be presentable at all times and have good IT skills specifically with Microsoft Office Applications (mainly Word and Excel). 

This is a varied and vital role which will start your career within an established and reputable IT company who will support the successful candidate through their apprenticeship. This role will provide business administration support within the company to help maintain and improve quality and reputation in terms of customer service.

Duties may include:

  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
  • Assist Account Managers in production of quotations and requests for pricing
  • Liaise with vendors for pricing and customer queries such as Microsoft and Dell
  • Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders
  • Promoting corporate events within the customer base
  • Answering the telephone and transferring calls to relevant department
  • Working closely with sales team, project co ordinators and the IT consultancy installation teams
  • Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks

Desired qualifications

Applicants should hold 4 x GCSEs at grades A-C or 4-9 to include English and Maths (or an equivalent qualification).

Things to consider

Initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship (24 months). Will be reviewed at the end of the term with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.
