To provide support and assistance in a range of admin duties to the business managers, director and sales executive team. The role will be mainly based at Rodbaston Campus, but there will be the need to travel to others campus' as required.

The duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Direct/answer telephones and queries from prospective and actual learners and employers in accordance with apprenticeship and Employer Engagement/College standards and procedures
  • Liaising with employers and Trainer/Assessors to develop comprehensive and effective apprenticeship vacancy stencils
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts, commitment statements, reports and information relating to apprenticeship enrolment and completions
  • Arrange, attend and minute meetings, where appropriate
  • Access centralised computerised systems and data and disseminate as appropriate
  • Administer any accreditation or certification arrangements
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the apprenticeship data systems. This includes, Pro-solution, Smart Assessor and the area monitoring tools
  • Refer employers and learners to the relevant Employer Engagement Lead and monitor progress
  • To take a pro-active role in activities relating to the recruitment and completions of students
  • Create and maintain appropriate records to support all contact/interaction with prospective/actual learners and employers (both electronic and paper-based) in accordance with internal and external agency requirements
  • Attend careers, employer and open events (internal and external) to represent the College as necessary
  • Work effectively with team members to ensure consistent and timely practice
  • Participate in meetings including performance, quality and communication meetings
  • Prepare data and management information reports as necessary
  • Provide administrative support as required by the Employer Engagement Lead
  • Provide a high level of customer service in internal and external communication
  • Undertake and prioritise word processing, photocopying, filing, record keeping, financial record keeping and general administrative support to meet deadlines

Applicants must be aware that they will be required to attend an Information Advice and Guidance session at one of our Campuses (Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock Chase Skills and Innovation Centre, or Rodbaston) in order to progress further in this vacancy. During the session, candidates must complete baseline assessments and will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the qualification.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
