Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • To ensure at all times that the customers receive the attention, standard and service they are entitled to
  • To always deal with passing customers in a polite, pleasant and professional manner
  • To adhere to the standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness laid down by the law and the company policies
  • To carry out service according to Company specification
  • To abide by Health & Safety and Food & Hygiene legislations at all times
  • To wear and maintain the correct uniform
  • To behave with other members of the staff in a polite, honest and friendly way
  • To be punctual at all times
  • To report to Management on duty any complaints, incidents, accidents or any other irregularities
  • To carry out any reasonable request made by the management
  • To attend department and general staff meetings
  • To attend any training sessions as judged reasonably necessary by the management

We are a 2 Rosetted AA Hospitality venue with numerous other awards to our credit. We are a 100% fresh produce kitchen that has very high expectation and standard of customer service and food to deliver. About the employer

We are a small family run award winning Restaurant with rooms. We have 2 AA hospitality Rosettes 4 diamond accommodation and many other high-profile accolades to our name. We are set int eh heart of a rural village in Rutland. WE are very known for our food and our speciality of providing game. We have been here for 17 years and have a very high standard that we deliver, but not stuffy. We are not a huge team and people that come to us mostly stay for years not weeks. We strive to deliver the same experience this year next year or in 10 years if someone comes. The first people they met are the FOH team and tis is a very important role in setting the tone of their experience. We love what we do and want someone to join us to help keep the business current within our vision and also help us take it forward to the next step.
