We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic apprentice to join our team. The apprentice's responsibilities include supporting customers software issues, installation of hotel door locking solutions and software, developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes, completing tests and assignments. You should be well-organised, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.

To be successful as an apprentice, you must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure. Outstanding apprentices are those who respond well to criticism, build good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Designing, installing and maintaining electronic lock systems and software within the hospitality sector
  • Develop and retain trust with customers and colleagues by undertaking responsibilities in an ethical and empathetic manner
  • Work productively and engage with colleagues, clients, other trades, suppliers and the public
  • Install new systems, modify and maintain existing systems as well as respond to requests for support where they will utilise their problem-solving skills
  • Verifying performance/fault finding and testing and maintaining

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive technical training online. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Information Communications Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
