Our Apprentice Diversion Team Officer will support the day to day operations of the charity, the Diversion Scheme and Druglink Training whilst undertaking a personal skills and development programme.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

  • To source and book appropriate venues for the Training in our areas of operation. To source venues that provide quality and good value for the charity
  • To regularly monitor and respond to queries from police services. This will include efficiently managing messages coming through the Criminal Justice Secure Mailing System and to resolve any issues with the system
  • To book individuals onto Training courses
  • Answering telephones, e mail and web enquiries for Druglink
  • Processing referrals from police forces and individuals
  • Ensuring personal details are entered accurately
  • Booking individuals onto Diversion courses including the Druglink eLearning system.
  • Processing payments for courses using the Druglink payment system
  • Confirming attendance via post, text messages and phone calls
  • Processing post-course evaluation and information forms
  • Information and confirming attendance and following up with non-attendees
  • To book and support sessional trainers for our courses
  • Ensure trainers have the equipment needed to present courses, up to date course materials, course information and attendees information, access to information sharing systems so data from courses can be fed back to Druglink when courses are complete
  • To support the Team Leader in the recruitment of new trainers and assisting with the induction process
  • To maintain good working relationships with Police. Answering queries within agreed timelines and ensuring all contact information is kept up to date
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail for the Charity
  • Actively support Druglink with all administrative functions such as answering phones and greeting visitors / taking deliveries, etc
  • Maintaining and using the Druglink database, ensuring the Team Leader is made aware of any issues
  • Maintaining and operating the Druglink messaging system
  • Assisting the Team Leader with the implementation of new schemes and maintaining good customer relationship management
  • Assisting with evaluation processes creating meaningful data that can be used to understand and demonstrate the effectiveness of our services
  • Collating information from courses
  • Creating and distributing online surveys and telephone questionnaires
