This is a varied and vital role which will start your career within an established and reputable IT company who will support the successful candidate through their apprenticeship.This role will provide business administration support within with contracts and renewable business department of the company to help maintain and improve quality and reputation in terms of customer service.

Duties to include:

  • Answering the telephone and transferring calls to relevant departments
  • Collate business data in a central shared document
  • Review historical system notes in relation to the information held in the above document
  • Liaise with vendors for pricing and customer queries such as Microsoft and Dell
  • Create and maintain opportunity records
  • Work with Account Managers in order to create appropriate ‘renewal quotes’
  • Contact customers most via email to provide advanced notice of upcoming renewals and provide relevant quotes
  • Deal with any follow-up queriers where necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all approaching renewable business and follow-up with customers where necessary
  • Receiving and processing purchase orders
  • Data inputting
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

  • Applicants should hold 4 x GCSES at grades A*-C or 9-4 to include English and maths (or an equivalent qualifications)

Things to consider

  • Initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship (24 months).  Will be reviewed at the end of the term with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate
  • Please ensure that you can travel to Cramlington for an 08.30am start
