You will be able to gain valuable experience in providing IT support for existing customers to help develop your skills and gain confidence.

Duties will include:

  • The role will involve support of existing clients
  • Answering support tickets
  • Proactively checking generated alerts from our monitoring software
  • Sending monthly reports
  • Checking backups and suggesting upgrades

Full training will be provided on our specific IT systems and our in house support process. We will provide you with full training in the software and systems we use. You will be required to travel to LS12 to undertake the role but we do offer flexibility in working and we could discuss a more flexible arrangement. We are a small business with an excellent reputation and want to support you to become a successful part of our team.

Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • We will support and coach the apprentice through the apprenticeship Standard. We will carry out both curriculum and pastoral care. We will carry out the skills development workshop days off site. We will oversee the teaching and learning around the knowledge, behaviours and skills elements of the standard. We will manage the apprentice’s OneFile account ensuring targets, milestones and deadlines are achieved
  • Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. Other off the job training will be monitored through the one file, Practical training, shadowing, mentoring, industry visits. Learning support and time spent writing assessments/assignments will also be coached and monitored
