As a member of our team you will support the day to day activities for the children, support their learning and monitor their development. Other duties will include:

  • Aid setting and clearing up the nursery
  • Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for the children and their families
  • Willingness to be involved
  • Build relationships and liaise closely with parents and other professionals involved within the nursery
  • Implement and deliver the curriculum
  • Contribute to planning
  • Support children’s daily care routines
  • Support the school drop off and pick-ups
  • Ensure that the children’s needs are met by offering structure, care and stability

  • Respecting the confidentiality and privacy of information

About the employer

Yeovilteenies day nursery is dedicated to the needs of our children and parents. We hope that this is reflected in our communication with you. The aim of Yeovilteenies Day Nursery is to provide good quality childcare, for children aged between 3 months and 5 years, for service and civilian personnel employed at Yeovilton. The building is purpose built to provide a safe and stimulating environment and has a large safe outdoor area. The nursery is located at the little Yeovilton site, which is on the northern side of the B3151.
