Main duties will include:

  • Undertake relevant training and development to ensure knowledge is current with latest regulations and industry best practice (Level 2 & 3 as appropriate)
  • Undertake relevant “Early Years Foundation Stage” framework training to develop knowledge and implement this on a daily basis
  • Develop an understanding of Montessori Philosophy through mentorship and in-house training
  • Assist in the maintenance of the prepared environment both indoors and outdoors
  • Work alongside and support other team members to achieve a good team environment
  • Uphold confidentiality of information received regarding children, parents, and team members
  • Promote a positive attitude towards both the nursery and the children at all times
  • Attend monthly team meetings
  • Undertake certain domestic tasks such as cleaning equipment, tidying, preparation of snacks etc.

Things to consider

We are located in a rural area with on-site car parking. There is a bus-stop close by with buses running from Macclesfield and Congleton, however candidates must check and confirm their travel options before applying.
