In this role you will be working towards meeting the key outputs as described above, to do that below are some of the required duties:

  • Ensure details of goods inwards/outwards correspond to the appropriate purchase order/dispatch note items i.e. quantity, size, description and material
  • Ensure markings on goods inwards/outwards are correct to corresponding paperwork
  • Transferring of goods inwards into stock locations
  • Process goods inwards through the computer system
  • Cutting pipe into requested lengths for dispatch purposes
  • Ensure goods outwards are adequately and securely packed
  • Operate forklift trucks for stock movement purposes
  • Maintain a safe and healthy place of work
  • Carry out general housekeeping tasks
