Addison Engineering Co Ltd are looking for a Level 2 AAT Accounts Apprentice to join their team. You will work towards a Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with sales ledger invoicing and administration, purchase ledger processing, credit control, reconciliation
- Dealing with face-to-face queries quickly and efficiently
- Dealing with telephone enquiries
- Closing files on the system
- Proving administration support to the finance team
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements and prospects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to work within a team
- Full training to be provided
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism
- Interest in accounts and desire to build a career within that sector
- Strong academic results (particularly maths)
- Attention to detail
GCSEs at grades B/6 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
Potential to progress into a full-time position upon completion.
