Our client based in Hove are a new law firm and they are looking to recruit an Apprentice to support their digital media presence. This role will report into the Client Care and Marketing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of Britton and Time’s existing social media accounts and setting up additional social media accounts where Britton and Time do not have them
  • Defining a competitive content strategy that aligns with business direction, current climate and identified SEO keywords
  • Driving content based around current events with a quick turnaround
  • Monitoring brand performance on social media using relevant tools and driving leads
  • Sourcing and engaging suitable partners to create engaging co-branded content and drive backlinks
  • Pro-actively search for new ways to expand Britton and Time’s digital footprint and ways to optimise existing platforms

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent English skills, and the ability to research and write grammatically correct and articulate posts 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to define the benefits of the social media strategy

Personal qualities

  • Must feel comfortable with researching and driving work independently
  • High self-motivation and organisational skills required, with the ability to chop and change between projects as required by the business

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE's at grades (A*-C/9-4) (or equivalent) in English and maths

Future prospects

  • Potential to progress into a permanent role after successful completion of apprenticeship programme

Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard:

Apprentices will receive training from both their employer and from their training provider.  They will meet with their Tutor/Assessor once a month either in a 1-1 meeting or workshop setting, to help them work towards the requirements of their apprenticeship.

The Apprenticeship includes:

  • Working on the knowledge, behaviours and skills required for the standard and building a portfolio of work
  • Working towards their End Point Assessment and practising the elements required

Apprentices must achieve an internationally recognised professional qualification in one of the following:

  • Principles for Coding
  • Marketing Principles
  • Digital Marketing Business Principles

Functional Skills:

  • Apprentices are required to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English (equivalent GCSE grade C - A* or grade 4 - 9) before they can start their End Point Assessment
