We are looking for a young person who is enthusiastic about cars and would love the chance to develop a career in the automotive industry. For the right person, this apprenticeship has the potential to develop into a fulfilling and established career in the car trade.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the stock in the shop, categorising car parts, unloading deliveries and ensuring stock records are up to date
  • Learning about the different stock we provide
  • Helping the shop manager in busy times by obtaining car parts for customers
  • Assisting the shop driver by obtaining parts required from our trade partners via delivery
  • Placing stock and retail products on shop shelves
  • Maintaining cleanliness of store
  • Driving licence preferred but not essential

  • Happy to carry out retail duties and stock management
  • Eager to learn about the car parts market and how our shop works with consumers, garages and suppliers

The ideal candidate will be a team player who willing to go above and beyond for the team. Candidates will need to have a mature attitude and be prepared to complete any task associated with the job role.

GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Things to consider

Are you interested in cars? In this role, you will speak to a number of people. Retail customers, suppliers, garages and trade customers. You will need the social skills to develop rapports with different types of people.
