You will be maintaining cleanliness, washing/cutting and preparing vegetables, cooking various food items and learning new skills. You will need a willingness to work in this busy environment.

Level 2 (GCSE)
You will be working in a busy kitchen, with a head chef who will provide support and help you develop. You will need a positive attitude to work in this fast-paced environment. You will need to work well as part of a team and also be able to use your own initiative.
- Preparation of salads, rice, breads and various other menu items, which you will be supported with
- Be able to plan ahead and time management
- Maintain a clean working area including operating the dishwasher, sweeping and mopping when required
- Maintaining food storage areas and stock rotation
Requirements and prospects
- Good communicator
- Good at problem solving
- A people person
- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications in English and maths
To be trained up to a chef position, with potential employment on completion of apprenticeship.

- Online/blended masterclass attendance every other week
- Online hospitality masterclass attendance, monthly
- Functional Skills English & maths level 2 (if required)
Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% off the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship – this will include online attendance for masterclasses.
