Duties will include:

  • Demonstrate the ability to manage the processes through which organisations plan and organise quality physical activity services and clinical services
  • Demonstrate the effective leadership of people
  • Demonstrate the efficient deployment of financial and physical resources
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills at the operational level, whilst being able to contribute to strategic planning and manage 
  • Improve Workingbodies services, manage and develop people and manage operations and risks
  • The ability to improve both exercise and fitness services and clinical operation, manage and develop people and manage operations and risks in an exercise and fitness environment
  • The development of customer service delivery within the Workingbodies organisation
  • Management of Human Resources, the building and management of a Fitness team
  • Management of business finance and strategic sales and marketing activities
  • Contribute to strategic planning
  • Management of health, safety and operations Management
  • Monitor business operations processes in both Gym and Clinic
  • Develop, Manage, Review and Improve Sales Support and Customer Service programmes
  • Understand and report on the commercial operations and make strategic recommendations for change
  • Manage the operational management and the importance of meeting operational performance targets
  • Be able to review and improve business operations processes
  • Understand the context of exercise and fitness management

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Be the face of Working Bodies, delivering excellent customer service skills, communication
  • Previous experience of managing a team/area/shift would be preferable but not essential
  • IT literate
  • Excellent attention to detail and enjoy working within a Health & Fitness environment

Personal qualities

Friendly and outgoing with the confidence to interact with members, clients and stakeholders.

Desired qualifications

No qualifications required, however experience in managing a team is preferable.
