Duties include;

  • Engineering CNC
  • Milling Lathes
  • Fabrication of steel and tube
  • Read technical drawings
  • Work to very tight tolerances in most instances this will be 0.01mm
  • All training on machines and specific work will be given in house

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Some knowledge would be advantageous but full training will be given.  Attention to detail.

Personal qualities

Must have a good sense of humour and good time keeping

Desired qualifications

GCSE grade 3/D in English and Maths or equivalent

Future prospects

Full time positions will be offered at the end of the apprentices

Things to consider

This is hard work and labour intensive especially on the fabricating
