The Apprentice will work in a small team within this electrical wholesale branch. After full training given your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients) as well as in store transfers, stock control, picking and packing, recycling and completing the paperwork associated with a busy Warehouse
  • Delivering high levels of customer service
  • Process customer purchases/orders
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Customer payments/dealing with enquiries over the trade counter
  • Answering the telephone to customers and suppliers

As an Apprentice EDA Apprenticeships Plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of City Electrial Factors.

Completing a Trade Supplier Apprenticeship Level 2, consisting of:

  • Competence/Knowledge based qualification 
  • Functional Skills in maths and English
  • End Point Assessment - Final exam, Observation and Discussion

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employer's wishes. Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit.
