Job Purpose:   Greeting clients and other callers, channelling them to the appropriate person, maintenance of file records and administrative support

  • Operating the switchboard and manning reception
  • Receiving and channelling telephone calls, and taking messages
  • Receiving and channelling emails
  • Opening and dispatch of post
  • Updating records of open and closed files
  • Filing and storage of closed files
  • Inputting time records
  • Photocopying/ printing
  • Diary maintenance
  • Typing of letters and other documents on
  • Bullseye case management system.
  • Dealing with straight forward enquiries
  • Making telephone calls to clients, solicitors, Court etc
  • Any other tasks that may be required

there is plenty of scope at this practice for the right individual to progress to a paralegal role, and/or to achieve police station accreditation to advise suspects suspected of crime. Should the candidate want to go on further and take higher professional qualifications this could also be supported.
