Two Machine setter / operator apprentices required to work on various machines and using a range of tools including:

  • Jig grinding
  • Universal grinding
  • Wire erosion processes
  • CMM quality checking machines

Desired qualifications

After successful completion of this apprenticeship there will be a full time position with progression to HNC level

Things to consider

Training will include 3 days at college - In-Comm Training Services, Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 8UG - and 2 days at the company for the first two years. Please ensure you are able to travel to both sites.

This is a four year level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard and will require the successful apprentice to attend college, In-Comm Training Services - Aldridge, WS9 8UG, three days per week for the first 18 months and two days per week at the company site. After this you will attend college one day per week for the remaining two years. 

The training will include:
