Kings Chambers are looking for an individual to become a member of the Chambers team. The job holder will report on a daily basis to our Chief Clerks in our Manchester chambers who have overall responsibility for overseeing the day to day smooth running of the clerks room.

The job holder is responsible for the following in order to achieve the Chambers focus for this role as outlined:

  • Use of LEX case management system
  • Delivering documents to various solicitors and local courts
  • Use of internet and law library to search for authorities, use of online databases
  • Collating and producing authority bundles for court
  • Photocopying and scanning
  • Incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Collecting and returning books from and to the law library
  • Retrieving papers from the Barristers room
  • Ordering stationary and supplies
  • Setting up of seminars and collating of delegate packs
  • Secure destruction of confidential waste in accordance with chambers policy
