Medical Receptionist Apprentice Bugbrooke Medical Practice
A great opportunity has arisen within a busy doctors surgery, where they require a Receptionist Administration Apprentice to join their team. They are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is wanting a career within this sector.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Total hours per week: 37.50

Duties to include but not limited to:
- Reception duties
- F2F and telephone customer service
- Back office duties including prescription tasks
- Booking and amending appointments
- General office duties
Requirements and prospects
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management
- Strong IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time keeping
- Good telephone manner
- Willingness to learn
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification preferred
Admin/patient services role within the practice.
Things to consider
Whilst working within a GP setting they must adhere to our policies and procedures including carrying out daily temp checks and bi weekly lateral flow tests. Face masks must also be worn whilst on site.

Bugbrooke Medical Practice is an accredited training practice and for many years has been involved in the post graduate training of fully qualified doctors who wish to enter the speciality of general practice. The GP registrar is encouraged to take on long-term problems which are presented by the patient to him/her, in association with the patient's own doctor.
