Your working week will be varied but typical roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Promote and deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Visit properties to carry out Inventories, Mid Term Inspections and Check Out Reports
  • Booking of Inventories, Mid Terms and Check Outs
  • Advising Landlords after visiting of any maintenance works required
  • Liaising with Contractors and Landlords and Tenants for any maintenance work to be completed
  • Booking and chasing of Gas Safety Certificates
  • Being aware of the legalities of Section 21, Section 8 and Section 13
  • Administering MyDeposit Claims
  • Administering deposit releases
  • Dealing with complaints from Landlords and Tenants
  • Working on our Jupix IT system to log all details of properties, maintenance etc - for which full training will be provided
  • Obtaining quotations for maintenance work from Contractors
  • Chasing maintenance on outstanding and approved maintenance and inspections

  • We require someone that is also able to work well with others within a small office environment

What will you learn?

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)

Much of the training will be undertaken ‘on the job’, supported by regular visits from a qualified assessor.

The Business Administration Apprenticeship is an 18-month programme, with apprentices being assessed on their competence within the workplace every 4-6 weeks.  Assignments will be set to cover the theory element of the qualification and you will attend a fortnightly Business Administration workshops based at Totton College.
