Sorion Electronics designs and manufactures bespoke guided assembly and end of line test systems for the automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industries.

They are looking to recruit a workshop operative apprentice to add to their team.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE ASSISTING WITH:

  • Electronic and Electrical Assembly
  • Electro-Mechanical Build
  • Panel Marking Out, Wiring and Assembly
  • Assembly of Jigs and Fixtures
  • Component Test Rigs
  • Harness Assembly, Wiring and Cabling
  • Panel Assembly, Soldering and Crimping
  • Labelling and Marking
  • Quality Assurance Inspection
  • Installation, Testing and Fault Finding on all System Components

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Much of our work is engineering or automotive focused, therefore a good knowledge and interest in motor vehicles and the motor industry would also be of benefit. Good general personal presentation and communication is expected.

Sorion work from 7am every morning until 4pm, with the compensation that we finish at 12pm midday on Fridays.
