We are looking for an apprentice to join a busy operations team to help with the day to day running of the department. We are looking for an individual that is motivated, has good communication skills and has a strong willingness to learn. This is a good first step into a great career within a supply-chain environment.

  • Courier collections are accurately carried out and monitored for safe delivery to the end destination
  • Customer returns are checked and accurately repackaged where required
  • Efficient assistance is provided in coordinating courier collections for returns and collections tracked until warehouse delivery
  • Floor space in the warehouse is consistently organised for ease of access and movement
  • Facility faults within the warehouse are reported within one hour of detection
  • Warehouse space and organisation improvement suggestions are proactively shared
  • Warehouse floors are swept and cleared daily Manages inventory on hand
  • Returns inventory on hand is minimised
  • Information from stock takes, receiving and receipting is accurately recorded, updated and maintained
  • Stock takes are accurately and regularly performed Quote information collation and processing
  • Provides accurate information regarding package weights and dimensions
  • Correct information on pricing and collection / delivery lead times provided to internal stakeholders
  • Provides input on external courier supplier use
  • Participates in the proactive research of freight forwarders / couriers for future onboarding by Viadex
