Apprentice required to assist with harness wiring. The company designs and manufacture full vehicle electrical wiring systems for all motorport, automotive and defence applications, from complex prototype development to small one-off harnesses, wired enclosures, panels and control systems.
The job role will include:
- Reading electrical wiring diagrams
- Using precision hand tools
- Working to critical low tolerances to construct wiring harnesses
- Wiring control panels

Opportunities to gain further qualifications IPC620 Standards, Quality accreditations, HNC in Electrical Engineering.
HCI are a growing company expanding to a new facility towards the end of 2021 aiming to double our current capacity.

In 2017 HCI Systems moved to a purposely fitted out facility and from 1st January 2018 will expand again into the unit next door giving room to have cars on site for in house Electric Vehicle Development and fit out and functional testing of standard combustion engined vehicles too.

This is a 15 month apprenticeship resulting in a Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification. Training will include attending college one day per week for the duration of the apprenticeship - this will be at The Marches Centre of Manufacturing and Technology, in Bridgnorth, but will be relocating in September/October to the new centre in Telford.
