Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Devising tracking and reporting frameworks that provide data to a wide range of digital platforms, including Google Analytics, DoubleClick and Data Management Platforms (DMPs)
  • Implementation of these plans using tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium and Adobe Launch
  • Liaison with our client’s developers to implement on-site data layers that support our data collection activities
  •  with APIs and developing scripts to integrate datasets and build reporting & visualisation tools
  • Support of A/B testing build work using customer experience optimization tools such as Optimizely, Optimise and VWO
  • Analysis of our client’s data to surface actionable insight regarding their website and marketing performance
  • Building and maintaining client relationships through day-to-day account management, both written and via face to face contact
  • Working autonomously and as a team, with time management a critical attribute

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Researched our Analytics teams and the analytics tools they use to help with marketing solutions (e.g Google Analytics).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

What’s an added bonus:

  • Background developing websites or applications is desirable but not required. We just want to see a passion or all things tech
  • If you have any experience in CRO (Conversation-Rate-Optimisation) or UX (User Experience) this could also come in handy
  • Essentially, we’re looking for intelligent, data-loving, coding obsessed, logical candidates

You will undertake the ground breaking Apprentify Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

We have designed our programme to offer you 4 distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as Social Media, Search Engine Marketing, Web Design or Web Development. These paths are designed to jump start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.

During the 15 months of training you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:

  • Marketing Principles – starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business
  • How the Web Works – delving into the technical you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective web sites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions
  • Driving Return on Investment – using data to create detailed customer insight, you will learn how to use industry leading platforms (including Google Analytics) to understand the online customer journey and improve your marketing based on customer usage of your website
