Due to expansion of the Company we have a position available for an Apprentice Admin Assistant to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have a crucial role within the business performing various roles with both and Admin and Accounts function.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with Customer Telephone enquiries
  • Writing office reports from handwritten notes
  • Creating Autocad drawings (training provided)
  • Updating the Company bespoke database
  • Assisting the Accounts Manager in Sales & Purchase Ledger tasks
  • Liaising with the managerial team

Annual Holiday Entitlement is 20 days pro rata per annum plus statutory holidays, which will increase by an extra day’s holiday for each continuous year of service following the first anniversary of employment and there after each January, up to a maximum of 5 additional day’s per annum.

Additionally an attendance allowance will be paid of £50.00 pro rata per calendar month to employees who do not have an unauthorized or sickness day off during any particular month up to payment of the allowance.

The attendance allowance will be paid with your November pay for all employees who have completed full employment up to and including the month of October.

We are looking for a hardworking, conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and be involved with all aspects of the business.

Desired qualifications

5 or more GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) including Maths & English or equivalent qualifications.

Future prospects

The successful candidate will be offered a full-time permanent position within the company upon successful completion of training.
