GCSE Grades A*-C or equivalent are desirable, specifically maths and English. 2017 new grading system, grade 9-4.

Full General Arc Welder Apprenticeship Standard at level 2 - to include Functional Skills if required.
Delivery is via our day release model requiring attendance weekly at our enginnering innovation centre in NG17.
You will work with expert tutors and assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the welding profession.
You will use an e-portfolio to gather your evidence of learning, journal entries and other training records.
At the end of a pre-determined period of learning, you, your employer and the college will agree that you have completed and achieved all learning elements and are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be organised.
