Tasks for the role:

  • Opening incoming post
  • Photocopying and scanning
  • Assisting with external mailings
  • Day filing/archiving
  • Property File upkeep
  • Putting together, printing and sending out property lists
  • Handling day to day operations
  • Assisting sales team members
  • Promote and deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Visit properties to carry out Inventories, Mid Term Inspections and Check Out Reports
  • Booking of Inventories, Mid Terms and Check Outs
  • Advising Landlords after visiting of any maintenance works required
  • Liaising with Contractors and Landlords and Tenants for any maintenance work to be completed
  • Booking and chasing of Gas Safety Certificates
  • Being aware of the legalities of Section 21, Section 8 and Section 13.
  • Administering MyDeposit Claims
  • Administering deposit releases
  • Dealing with complaints and queries from Landlords and Tenants
  • Working on our Jupix IT system to log all details of properties, maintenance etc - for which full training will be provided
  • Obtaining quotations for maintenance work from Contractors
  • Chasing maintenance on outstanding and approved maintenance and inspections

Level 2 Housing Property Management Assistant Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role
  • 20% off the job learning required and evidenced in a log provided
  • End-Point Assessment conducted by an external provider (interview, portfolio and knowledge-based test). The end-point assessment is designed to enable apprentices to demonstrate that they are fully competent in the skills knowledge and behaviours expected of individuals at this level
  • Delivery of this programme will be remote due to location. However, physical visits by the Tutor will be discussed, once current restrictions are lifted
