The apprentice's role would be to sell the company’s technical products and services. With the consultancy role there is also an unlimited commission plan on offer. For any and all sales generated the apprentice receives 10% of the profit achieved from sales.

The primary role of this position is to sell a company’s technical products and services. The apprentice will work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible from customers both internal and external, UK or internationally. They will also approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business. Maintaining a thorough understanding of existing technologies and those that are emerging.

Selling technical products and services including:

  • Office 365
  • Internet Lines & Calls
  • Mobile services
  • Cloud services

Other duties:

  • Working to identify opportunities to provide IT solutions
  • Working with the technical team to resolve customer IT issues and support in delivering IT projects
  • Communicate effectively and present both in writing and orally at all levels, using a range of tools
  • Record, analyse and communicate data at the appropriate level using the organisation’s standard tools and processes throughout all sales interactions
  • Develop a clear understanding of clients’ business needs and advising how these might be met with appropriate products, tools and techniques
  • Prioritise your contacts and keep an up-to-date database knowing when and why to contact customers or prospects in line with organisational requirements

Future prospects

  • This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity of a full-time position at the end of the Apprenticeship

Things to consider

  • Commission Plan – up to 25% of Profit share (paid monthly). Details of the commission plan can be shared before a candidate accepts an offer

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week)
