Starr and Style Ltd Trading as Bon Appetit Café & Deli Bar are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join their team as an Apprentice Chef. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship.

Duties to include:
- Supporting the chef
- Preparing a variety of food items
- Making Sandwiches
- Making Cakes
- Using a variety of kitchen equipment such as mixers, specialist knives and cutters.
- Unloading, checking and storing deliveries
- Keeping all areas of the kitchen clean
Requirements and prospects
- IT Skills
- Good communication skills

- Hardworking with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to work as part of a team or unsupervised
- personal hygiene must be maintained
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, keen to learn, punctual, reliable, honest and trustworthy
7-3/A-D or equivalent preferred by the employer.
A full time job for the right candidate on completion of the qualification and progression in the role.

For example, if you already have a Level 4 qualification you still may be able to complete an apprenticeship at any level providing you meet the eligibility criteria and are learning substantive new skills.
