Duties will include:

  • To provide the admin support to the nursery ensuring that highest level service is provided to the customer, whilst supporting the business
  • To work towards achieving a happy & welcoming environment for children, parents & visitors 
  • To generate and distribute our newsletter weekly 
  •  Supports the Nursery in achieving targets set by the Office Manager and business
  • Supports the Office Manager and the team to allow them to achieve high standards of childcare
  • To ensure that all children receive stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • To adhere to all policies and procedures at all times
  • To maintain family and account records (paper and electronic)
  • To collect fees including the administration of Childcare vouchers, pursuing outstanding fees and resolving any account queries
  • To maintain accurate and confidential staff, children’s and parent’s records (including equal ops monitoring and staff qualifications)
  • To create new parent and employee packs
  • To assist in preparing monthly payroll spread sheets
  • Ensure that this is authorised by the Office Manager before forwarding to finance department
  • Photocopying, laminating and other general office duties
  • To submit payments for authorised invoices, apply for authorised refunds and tracking receipts
  • To generate invoices and receipts through Connect Childcare
  • To keep petty cash records where applicable
  • To communicate pleasantly and effectively in person, in writing and on the telephone
  • To order from suppliers under supervision
  • Keeping the office & staff area tidy
  • To develop effective relationships with your colleagues and carers
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for children
  • Attend staff meetings and appropriate training courses when required
  • Any other duties requested by the Office manager

Excellent rates of pay, bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development. 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays plus an additional 2 weeks paid holiday over the Christmas and New Year. You will need the ability to work at short notice.
