  • Responsible for the proactive monitoring, control and management of all activities necessary to ensure the Defence Department delivers the goods, works and / or services required by the customer as defined in the contract
  • Manage the day to day relationship with the Customer
  • Ensure schedule adherence, raising job cards etc. and liaising with the personnel as required, ordering parts, etc. as defined by the contractual terms and conditions that are in place with the relevant customers
  • Book all completed jobs through the E10 system and to pass the paperwork to the Warehouse team
  • Evaluate operational or technical performance against contractual requirements
  • Advise the customer on the acceptability and impact of alternative solutions and proposals
  • Ensure a full and accurate audit trail is maintained for contracts under your responsibility
  • Attend Contract Management Reviews with the customer in accordance with Contract Requirements
  • Submit KPI’s to the customer in accordance with Contract Requirements
  • Identify Risks, Opportunities and Benefits ad record these on the relevant customer registers
  • Responds to customer request for quotes
  • Answer the customer enquiries in an effective, efficient and professional manner
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant Work Instructions and BOM are up to date on the system

Carwood Motor Units Ltd was established as an independent auto-electrical specialist in August 1966, since then it has grown steadily in size and technical capability both organically and by strategic acquisition. Today we have over 244 employees, with a large proportion of highly skilled technical personnel.

The Company has 5 main operational centres in the UK. The Head Office in Binley, Coventry, employs more than 110 staff and is the principle technical services centre and specialised parts distribution point for home and export sales, “Carwood Defence” is based at Coventry. The Birmingham “Carwood Diesel Systems” facility has approximately 80 employees and is one of the most advanced diesel fuel injection (DFI) remanufacturing centres in the world. It includes a Class 7 Clean Room to ISO 14644 for product assembly and a full vehicle diagnostic service unit. Carwood Nottingham was opened in 2012; it is a world class turbocharger and rotating machine remanufacturing facility. The fourth location is Carwood Rewind in Yeovil, this is a specialised rotating electrical remanufacturing centre with a comprehensive coil rewinding capability covering a wide range of AC and DC motor or generator applications and provides the Carwood Group with a vertically integrated electrical machine remanufacturing capability.
