Two welding apprentices required to learn MIG, TIG and ARC welding techniques. We specialise in the production of one-off and bespoke projects in stainless steel and aluminium. Training will include attending college at ITAS, based in Shrewsbury, two days per week for the duration of this 15 month apprenticeship.  The job role will include:

  • Welding
  • Cutting
  • Bending
  • Drilling
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Fabrication
  • Marking out
  • Using a saw and a guillotine, brake press, grinders

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Previous engineering studies / hobbies/ DIY projects would be preferred
  • Good verbal and written communiations
  • Good maths skills
  • Able to work independently and with other team members
