Desired qualifications

  • There are no nationally agreed minimum entry or previous experience requirements for this training programme. However, it is advantageous to have GCSE (or equivalent)  Grade 4/C's in maths and English however this is not compulsary as part of our framework includes Functional Skills maths & English Level 1.

Future prospects

The apprenticeship offers you a specialist work-based qualification to support a career in hairdressing or to progress onto studying for a level 3 in Hairdressing 

With further training and experience, you could go onto working as a senior hair stylist or with the relevant business knowledge you could also set up your own hairdressing salon. The course is work based which means you can earn and learn at the same time whilst developing the skills, understanding and knowledge that employers in the hair and beauty industries are looking for.
