This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well established salon.  This is a busy salon and standards are extremely high therefore applicants must have excellent multi tasking skills and be able to use their own initiative when required.  Some of the initial duties will include:

  • Meet and greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
  • General housekeeping - cleaning and restocking products
  • Shampooing and condition clients
  • Work alongside stylists and assisting where needed

You are require to complete one day per week "off the job" training at our onsite training academy with both practical and theory work. 

Your skills and abilities are assessed ongoing throughout the apprenticeship and will complete with an End Point Assessment (similar to an industry trade test).  You will demonstrate that you can complete a range of services on a number of models to industry standards and within commercial timings.

You will gain Diploma Level 2 Hair Professionals qualification. alongside this you may be required to do Functional Skills in maths & English (dependent upon any prior learning) and the level will be determined by GCSE results or equivalent.

An individual learning plan enabling you to progress at your own speed, we support you every inch of the way helping you to succeed in developing your skills as well as attaining your qualification.

Reviews take place every 6 to 8 weeks to assess your progress and agree targets for your qualification. One to one assessment for work based learning.  Your education will take place in our training academy and also in your salon/workplace where we visit you regularly.
