The candidate will be a member of the Technical Support Team which is responsible for the development maintenance of the company IT infrastructure. As this is a level 3 qualification we require IT experience or qualification in this area.

We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy branch. 

After full training your role will include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd Line support on Technical issues
  • Configure Laptops, PC’s, Terminals, Printers, PED’s etc
  •  Provide support on peripherals such as Laptops, PC’s, Terminals, Printers, PED’s, and Barcode Readers etc.…
  • Active Directory administration
  • Log data circuit faults with BT
  • Manage hardware returns
  • Manage company printers
  • Work with other teams to resolve issues

The IT department is a large and important part of CEF and is now identified as playing a vital role in generating new business.

The IT department matters to CEF and any successful candidate will be just as significant to the company. CEF continually looks to improve and develop better functionality and performance using the latest technology and you will be a crucial part of this process.

As an apprentice EDA apprenticeship plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of the branch.
