Reports to the Practice Manager.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • To provide high quality administration services to the patients, Doctors and staff at the surgery in a caring and supportive manner
  • To provide a point of contact for patients and act as a focal point for communication between, patients, Dentists and other Practice staff
  • To maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Work as part of a team, following practice protocols
  • Be courteous and patient and enjoy working with colleagues and patients
  • Work with supervision on all aspects of the practices admin function
  • Answering general enquiries, explaining Practice procedures, making new and follow-up appointments in person and by telephone
  • Receive and convey messages verbally and electronically
  • Process medical records
  • Office filing
  • The post holder will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
