About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small business. You will be exposed to all functions of the business and become a key member of their administration team. You will support the lead accountants and business partners with their admin duties as well as undertaking your own administration duties. The employer is supportive of the apprentices and has progressed their previous apprentices through higher qualifications.
And DAY to DAY?... You will be responsible for:
- Answering the phone
- Payroll support

- Capable of working within a team or alone
- A Good communicator, able to confidently communicate verbally, in written format and on the phone
- Willing to learn
You’ll also need to have/be:
- Honesty and integrity
- Problem solving abilities
- Knowing the why as well as the what
GCSE or equivalent – English and maths (Grade C/4 or above)

The Owner of the Company is Janet Wishart, Ian Wright is our Tax Advisor, he also deals with all our Accounts and Self Assessments, Andrea Unwin is our Payroll Clerk and Receptionist and Rachael Cutts deals with our Admin and Bookkeeping.
Finally, NewStreet Accounting formed a partnership with Cheetham Jackson Ltd, to be able to offer comprehensive financial planning to its client's. The partnership is called NewStreet Financial Services Ltd and is a trading style of Cheetham Jackson JV LLP, which is an appointed representative of Cheetham Jackson Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
