  • Assist at the reception desk, welcoming visitors to the school
  • Managing telephone enquiries and message taking where necessary
  • To communicate effectively with staff, children, parents and outside agencies
  • Post opening and distribution
  • Receive incoming goods and checking against orders
  • To undertake general administration projects as directed by the Office Manager and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Inputting and retrieving pupil information/data when necessary
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing as necessary
  • To set up meeting rooms with refreshments and materials
  • To distribute a range of letters, reports, teaching aids and newsletters around the school
  • To type up documentation and prepare reports as directed by Headteacher or office manager
  • To provide clerical assistance to teaching staff including reprographics, faxing and making calls to follow things up as requested
  • To stock check stationary and resources
  • Assist in the recording of pupil’s absence and lateness
  • Lunch time supervision/Playground duty
  • To undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the post
