Aire Valley Architectural (aluminium) Ltd require the successful candidates to learn all aspects of manufacturing aluminium systems.

Duties to include:

  • Produce curtain walling facades, windows, and doors to the commercial sector
  • Working under the supervision of skilled engineers the successful candidates will also be required to learn processes of modern engineering and working on the latest, state of the art machine tools and CAD

Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Competency based qualification - The NVQ is delivered through practical and written assignments which are carried out in college or sometimes in the workplace and apprentices will be required to produce work tasks and build an e-portfolio of evidence
  • Knowledge qualification - College based Technical Certificate delivered on a day release basis
  • EmployeeRights & Responsibilities (ERR) and Personal Learning & Thinking Skills (PLTS) - are delivered alongside the competency qualification via workbooks
