Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the below:

As a Carpentry Apprentice you will work alongside an experienced tradesperson to gain experience in maintenance areas:

  • Door frames
  • Hanging doors
  • Boxing pipes
  • Window frames and floor joists
  • Conforming to general health, safety, and welfare in the workplace
  • Using a range of tools
  • Measuring, marking out, cutting, finishing, positioning, and securing
  • Safely storing materials, without causing damage
  • Installing floor joist coverings
  • Fitting hinges

You will attend college one day a week and work towards a Level 2 apprenticeship in Carpentry.

You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
