Vertu Motors operates a nationwide chain of franchised motor dealerships offering sales, servicing, parts and accident repair facilities for new and used car and commercial vehicles. The group trades as Bristol Street Motors, Macklin Motors, Vertu Motors across the UK with over 149 sales outlets and 32 franchises.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Timeliness of new vehicles arrival to fulfil customers’ orders
  • Accuracy of specifications received
  • Timeliness of settlements and finance pay-outs
  • Allocate registration numbers and tax new vehicles
  • Tax used vehicles using the Retail Facility processes and procedures
  • Monitor anticipated delivery dates and provide information on updated vehicle delivery dates to sales team
  • Order registration plates at the appropriate time to enable the vehicle to be prepared ready for handover
  • Locate or order vehicle on the factory as appropriate using DCS or other computerised system
  • Respond to sales consultants queries relating to vehicle progress using DCS or other computerised system
  • Log in new vehicles manually and on the computer and raise a PDI sheet to progress preparation of the vehicle
  • Complete invoices for new and used vehicles and allocate vehicles
  • Code up internal invoices for internal accounting purposes
  • Handle incoming enquiries relating to dealer transfer request
