The Protector Group are a Security manned guarding Company which offers temporary security systems and mobile services. Due to the increased volume in work, they are happy to offer the position of an Apprentice Business Administrator. 

The tasks for the position are:

  • Collect, then distribute the mail
  • Rise sales ledger invoices in a SAGE 50 accounts system
  • Write out the paying in book and bank physical cheques at the bank
  • Post the cheques in SAGE to the customer accounts or whatever SAGE account they relate to
  • Logging of expense payments into an xls doc splitting them into categories for the purpose of annual P11D completion
  • Maintenance of the expense's paperwork, matching expense claim forms with receipts received at a later date
  • Filing of expenses paperwork
  • Adding expenses to CASH
  • Scan the remittances into the Share folder
  • Send out customer statements once per month
  • Send Mid-month reminders
  • U-date email addresses for any emails that are undeliverable when sending statements etc
  • Analysis of weekly engineering hours into an xls, and add missing hours into CASH.
  • Deal with telephone/outlook emails

Initially concentrating on Static Site Security or Manned Guarding, the company’s Founder John Spencer Harvey, an ex-Royal Marine with distinguished service, placed the emphasis on quality rather than quantity by only taking on contracts within the company resources at that time.
