Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of Production Supervisor to perform assigned daily duties in a timely & safe manner
  • Understand and question, where necessary, any unclear instructions
  • Record accurate data where and how requested
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good, safe and working order
  • Ensure equipment and area is clean at the end of each day 
  • Operate forklift trucks safely and within the remits of training provided
  • Report all changes to product processes, manufactured products and packaging to Production Supervisor
  • Be aware of and report to the Production Supervisor any raw material requirements before stocks are depleted
  • Prepare for and be involved in stock checks as directed providing correct information
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace throughout the buildings
  • Ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
  • Undertake training pertinent to your role
  • Positive, helpful attitude and excellent time keeping
  • Develop & maintain interpersonal relationships with colleagues
  • Observe and work within guidelines produced in the JW staff handbook, questioning where appropriate
